Blake Peterson, DPM, MHA, is a skilled podiatrist at Yavapai Foot and Ankle Center in Prescott, Arizona

Dr. Peterson completed his undergraduate training at Brigham Young University in Idaho. After graduation, he attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois, to complete his four-year medical training. While in Chicago, he also completed a master’s degree in health administration at Rosalind Franklin University.

After receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Peterson moved to Temple, Texas, and completed a three-year surgical residency at Texas A&M University and Baylor Scott and White Medical Center. During his third year, he served as chief resident and received extensive training in both nonsurgical and surgical treatments for foot and ankle pathology in adults and pediatrics. He is board qualified in both foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Peterson is a proud husband and father to three wonderful children. He’s also had the opportunity to take part in both service and medical mission trips to Northern Peru and San Miguel, Mexico. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys this ability to communicate with his Spanish-speaking patients. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities, playing and watching sports, and most of all, spending time with his family.
