Sandy Homon originally began her career in hotel/motel management. Years later, though, her focus shifted when she joined the staff at Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC). “I wanted to do something different,” Sandy said of the change.
As years passed, she became more involved with the hospital’s operating room, delving into her newest role as a Surgery Scheduler and Orderly. Between setting up appointments and caring for patients, Sandy transformed into the adept multitasker she is today, a role owned with a smile, patience, and finesse.
Like in the surgery room, Sandy attends to all patients at Yavapai Foot and Ankle Center with the same care and concern. “[We’re] willing to go above and beyond to give our patients the best care possible,” she said of the practice’s atmosphere. “We all are more than co-workers. We are friends, work well together, and help one another.”
